Take Your Child to the Library Day
The Morris Area Public Library invites everyone to join us on Saturday, February 1, 2025, to celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day—a special worldwide event where libraries open their doors for a day of fun, learning, and connection. This is a FREE event but space is limited and registration is required, so call today! 815-942-6880
Event Highlights:
- Meet Pete the Cat: Kids will love snapping a photo with everyone’s favorite cool cat.
- Craft Stations: Visitors can let their creativity shine with hands-on crafts.
- Interactive Activities: Explore and learn about our Library of Things collection and digital services that support learning and entertainment for all ages.
Take Your Child to the Library Day is the perfect time for families to discover how the library supports their children’s growth and success:
- Sign up for a library card (it’s free!).
- Connect with our staff and learn about upcoming programs.
- Explore books, games, and technology that make the library an exciting place to learn and play.
