Minooka Memorial Day Observance

Minooka American Legion Post 1188 will host a Memorial Day Parade on Monday May 28, 2018. The parade steps off at 10 a.m. from the Minooka Bible Church and ends at Veterans Park at the corner of Mondamin and Wabena in downtown Minooka. There will be an observance at Veterans Park following the parade. The Grundy County Veterans Assistance Commission has been asked to participate in the parade and will be sending one of their busses. If any veterans want to ride on the bus for the parade they are asked to meet at the Minooka Village Hall parking lot to load the bus by 9:30 AM.
