Latex and Oil Paint Recyling Event

Latex and Oil Paint Recycling Event June 11  
Saturday June 11, 2022 - 9:00 AM to Noon
North Parking lot of the Grundy County Animal Control Facility at 310 East DuPont Road, Morris, IL
 
The Grundy County Land Use Department will be having a paint recycling event for both latex paint and oil based paints/stains. This event will be held at the north parking lot of the Grundy County Animal Control Facility located at 310 East DuPont Road off Lynn Road in Morris, IL 60450 on Saturday June 11, 2022 from 9:00 AM to Noon.
 
We will be partnering with Earth Paints Organization as they will recycle the paint and make useable paints.
 
Paint must be in its original container with its original label and be non-leaking and covered with a lid.
 
All paint accepted will be charged the following by Earth Paint:
 
Latex Paint:                                         Oil Based Paints/Stains:
 
Quart - $2.50                                       Quart - $5.00  
Gallon - $5.00                                      Gallon - $9.00
5 Gallon - $18.00                                 5 Gallon - $20.00
Spray Can Latex ONLY - $2.00
 
Earth paints has recycled more than 70 million pounds of paint ad has created thousands of cans and pails of recycled paint. Each gallon that is created as a recycled paint does keep paint out of the landfill and saves more than 13 gallons of clean water that it takes to create new paint
