Hands-On 8th Grade Career Fair
All 8th graders in Grundy County will attend and we are looking for more vendors! The purpose of the Fair is to show 8th graders the wide variety of careers (not jobs) in Grundy County. By highlighting careers, students are better prepared to select classes in high school and find a post-high school program that will enable them to achieve their career goals.
Each vendor booth must have a hands-on component to engage the students. This can be a piece of equipment they can touch, a game, a physical challenge, or a mental challenge. Be prepared to stand up and engage the kids--we've seen them walk right by the "boring" booths!
