Blood Run 5k/ Zombie Walk

The Will-Grundy Medical Clinic and Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park & Theatre will be hosting a 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, October 14, 2017. The Blood Run 5k / Zombie Walk, a certified and sanctioned USATF event. 
 
“This is a fun and healthy event suitable for the whole family,” explained Shawn Marconi, Executive Director of the Will-Grundy Medical Clinic. “Also, it’s a great way to build comradery among co-workers. Organize a team of 5 from your company or organization and receive a discounted registration fee. The Will-Grundy Medical Clinic encourages residents of all ages to participate in this unique 5k. It’s time to get healthy and have fun doing it”, said Shawn. 
 
Participants are encouraged to wear costumes. Awards will be given for “Best Time” (male/female), as well as “Best Costume” (male/female). Please register at bloodrun5k.itsyourrace.com. Take advantage of early registration (before October 6, 2017) and receive a discounted rate of $35 per participant. A group of 5 will receive a discounted rate of $140.  Kids’ registration fee is $10. 
 
The Will-Grundy Medical Clinic is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides free medical and dental care to adults who have no health insurance or medical care entitlements and meet prescribed income guidelines.
