Come join the Grundy County Historical Society for an evening of music at the Museum. On Tuesday, September 26th at 6:00 p.m. Barb Boma and Jill Kopczick will deliver never before renditions of several musical scores written by local musicians like Frank Gale, Ruth Harrison Huseby, F. E. Minkler, and band leader Ray Bannon. A couple of the pieces were written by members of Barb’s musical family. Take a trip back to your childhood as this former music teacher leads visitors in the State Song as Jill plays the music on the Museum’s rural school house piano. And who knew there was a “Shabbona Shottisch!” Jill will take you there.
