On Saturday, August 16, celebrate summer with a free outdoor concert and car show at McKinley Woods - Kerry Sheridan Grove in Channahon! This event is hosted by the Forest Preserve District of Will County and presented by JULIE, Inc., the event's title sponsor for 2014.
 
At 6 p.m., the evening will begin with a car show. There is no car registration fee! To display your vehicle in the show, pre-register online from the District's Web site at http://www.reconnectwithnature.org/information/music-mckinley-2014.asp. Car show registration will also be available at the event beginning at 6 p.m.
 
From 7 to 10 p.m., you can dance the night away at a free concert featuring the 1950s rock 'n' roll and rockabilly sounds of the Cadillac Casanovas!
 
No reservations or tickets are necessary for the concert. Wearing insect repellent is recommended. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy a night of music under the summer night sky. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Heroes West Sports Grill.
