This playground was built for physically or neurologically disabled children of all ages within their spectrum of abilities becoming a safe and fun place for all kids; regardless of ability; to play and families to gather! Hope Helps All-Inclusive Playground currently contains a wheelchair accessible merry go round, sensory wall and dome, high backed swings with harnesses, assisted zip line, and one large, traditional play structure. This playground was built to keep ALL children of ALL abilities playing and learning TOGETHER! Now, in 2018, Hope Helps is expanding!! Phase 2 of Hope Helps All-Inclusive Playground is underway! This expansion is an additional 2,477 square feet including Wheelchair Glider, Sensory Tunnel, Wee Saw and Global Spinner all on the same pulverized rubber ground covering. We will also be adding ADA accessible picnic tables, benches and sun shades. This community project has a price tag of nearly $150,000!! This amount includes all the aforementioned equipment, community build weekend as well as a pulverized rubber ground covering; creating a flat surface suitable for wheelchairs, walkers and other needs to be able to join in on the fun!
