In 2012, the Will County Children's Advocacy Center launched a new program that offers furry friendship and canine comfort to children who have suffered the trauma of sexual abuse. The first dog to work with the children is Jackson, a 3-year-old, 63-pound Labrador Retriever that is licensed through Therapy Dog International. Learn how Jackson helps ease the stress and provides some much-needed comfort to children and families.
